Downloaded Evernote_3.1.0.1225.exe Moved the .exe to a userx\apps folder then ran "wine Evernote_3.1.0.1225.exe" installed the program without a problem. A shortcut is placed on your desktop. I got "connection timeout" a couple of times when I tried to login then it but then it logged in normally and slowly downloaded by Notebooks from my account Like Helge I tried Evernote 3.5. This required .net 3.5 which does not work with the stable version of wine. I have just installed on Ubuntu 9.10
Installed Wine 1.0.1 from Synaptic Package Manager.
Downloaded Evernote_3.1.0.1225.exe
Moved the .exe to a userx\apps folder then ran
“wine Evernote_3.1.0.1225.exe” installed the program without a problem.
